Know where your organisation is headed The next step in ‘proving and improving’ is to make sure that there is an agreed mission for the organisation. Implementing a strategic review, hiring a strategy consultant or using Planning for Real 1, Imagine 2, or a Future Search Conference 3 can be helpful. Once a mission has been agreed, it’s important to set out the key objectives (sometimes called goals or aims) remembering to encompass all the aims of the organisation (social, environmental and/or economic mission with the financial sustainability).
